Office Manager
After graduating from Hotel School, I’ve always worked in commercial services, mostly in organizational roles. Whether it’s a game studio, relocation company, or Decisio, I enjoy making sure everyone can do their job well. Organizing has become second nature—or perhaps it’s in my DNA? I thrive in a multifaceted role like my current one as office manager. My responsibilities broadly cover Finance, HR, and Facility Management. But if something doesn’t quite fit into those categories and isn’t part of my colleagues’ tasks? Chances are I’ll take it on.
And outside of work?
I’ve lived for 30 years in a car-free eco-neighborhood in Westerpark, within the city—with my partner. Our children have recently flown the nest but are still often found chatting around the kitchen table. We continue to enjoy city life with its many cultural activities, such as concerts, restaurants, pubs, theaters, and cinemas. In our free time, we love hiking in the Netherlands or abroad—like our recent breathtaking walk along the South West Coast Path (SWCP). I also walk to the office a few times a week with our adopted service dog, who is now enjoying retirement but still works part-time as our office dog.
