I started at Decisio after obtaining my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in (business) economics and a bachelor’s degree in Tax Law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. During my economics master’s, I specialized in financial economics because of my interest in quantitative analyses and corporate investments. In my master’s thesis, I examined the investment effects of uncertain fiscal policy.
At Decisio, I enjoy working on projects that involve data analysis (for example, CBS Microdata) or where quantitative methods are applied. At the same time, I find it important and enjoyable to translate these insights clearly and understandably in our reports. This combination of quantitative analyses, the often diverse project topics, and their societal relevance makes the work both intellectually engaging and varied, as well as meaningful.
I love riding my road bike through the dunes and polders with a few friends or taking part in races. When I’m not cycling, I like meeting up with friends or watching cycling races such as the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. During holidays, you’ll often find me somewhere in the mountains. In summer, this usually means picking a beautiful spot to cycle with friends, while in winter I enjoy spending a week skiing.
