Since January 2026, I have been working at Decisio as a consultant. I’m a graduate economist and I’m particularly interested in using data to answer policy questions: how can you turn analysis into insights that support real decisions? During my bachelor’s in Economics & Business Economics at Erasmus University, followed by a Master’s in Politics & Policy Analysis, I focused on the intersection of economics, policy and societal developments.

During my studies, I carried out quantitative research on topics such as innovation, social mobility, and European trade and development policy. During my Master’s, I also looked at how economic insecurity can shape support for the radical right, and how this relationship may differ between men and women. What I enjoy most about these topics is combining analytical depth with societal relevance.

Outside of work

I grew up in Haarlem and still live there. I spent two years living and studying in Milan. Italy is still my favourite country, so you’ll often find me there when I can. I played field hockey for many years and now you’ll regularly find me at the gym. In my free time I love walking my dog, running in the dunes or along the beach, and doing fun things with friends (usually involving good food). And if possible: a city trip abroad.
