MRA‑e is the project organisation that promotes electric mobility in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (MRA) and the province of Utrecht. In 2016, Decisio prepared a position paper for MRA Electric. Earlier, Decisio also carried out the evaluation of MRA‑e.
Both studies focused on the future of electric mobility and the ways in which the participating public authorities can further stimulate its uptake. The energy transition was another central theme. Smart charging, using vehicle batteries as storage capacity, and installing charging points in strategic locations can give electric vehicles a key role in the energy transition and help avoid costly investments in the electricity grid.
